Is it practical?

I saw Parineeta yesterday. I found it to be nice, but a little dragged.
Very few people are found to be waiting for an year or more for a person for marriage like both the actor & the actress.
To me it was more a fantasy than reality, quite away from practicality; specially from the point of view of a girl.
Any opinions?
I will add more later.

Confusion

Confusion

Its long since i posted a photo blog. For those of you who visit the cartoon section of the blog, would have noticed this cartoon there today.... I simply could not resist laughing after seeing this cartoon...a perfectly techie way to diagnose a patient...

Imagine what can be the possible dignostic results if a computer does your diagnosis instead of the doctor...
Let me think a few:

1) Head-ache : Hard-disk not found error
2) Stomach-ache: Garbage error
3) Stress : OS not found
4) Severe Heart-attack: Fatal error, system shutdown in few secs

Can't think of more diseases right now.... ?????????

Change- Does it makes a difference?

I have changed the template of my blog...i should rather say that I have altered it a lot from its basic look & feel. It is the first time i am using light shades for my template...if they say light shades are preferred by people who are more optimist or positive towards life...

I AM BECOMING MORE & MORE OPTIMIST..

Do light shades really reflect that?

Linear Perspective....!!

"I wonder how many opportunities/interesting people I ended up missing because of this weird quality by which we always look for extensions of existing (sometimes stale, unhealthy!) Patterns in each and every new experience/person.
It fit beautifully into the puzzle and I wondered how I could've been so blind! One particular pattern was so strongly embedded in my mind that I ignored what was, even if a bit different, staring me in the face!"

These are the lines I read in a blog I visited yesterday, while traversing I have forgotten where I read so sorry to the blogger who wrote this for not giving any credit of inspiring me. These lines strike me so much that I had copied but to my stupidity I forgot to note the blog. If by chance that person happens to visit my blog, please take the credit, I don’t want to fall into plagiarism. ;-)

“I wonder how many opportunities/interesting people I ended up missing because of this weird quality by which we always look for extensions of existing…”
If we think about this line, it’s so true. For all the stupid reasons we keep looking for those extensions or add-ons in the people who are existing near us. Sometimes I feel – “How do all of us forget all good things any person does for us, in the light of one wrong thing they do?” We just feel “How can they do this?” instead of thinking that “What made him/her do this?” We keep looking for things from our perspective instead of putting ourselves in the shoes of others. Some of the common situations in each of our lives are:
* How can he forget my birthday, I was the first one to wish him? :-(
* How can she love me, I have never talked to her? ;-)
* How can people be so mean, they don’t understand my views? :-p
And many more...

We never think:
* Why he forgot my birthday?
I think he would be busy or may be he has some tension. Let me call him up and ask, may be he needs some help.
* Why she loves me?
I think I have never tried to understand her. Let me give her some space & make an attempt to read her mind, may be its true.
* Why people are so mean?
I think I am not able to communicate myself properly. Let me pay more attention to clarify my point, may be I am somewhere wrong.

These are some of the common instances faced by all of us in this small world…If we think & act accordingly, we can make ourselves & the world around us a little happier.
